About PTCA(I) and the Symposium

The Plant Tissue Culture Association (India) [PTCA-I] is an elite body of Scientists, several of whom are pioneers in the field, while others have established scientific credentials. At
present, the PTCA-I comprises of 115 elected members. One of the goals of PTCA-I is to provide platform for students, researchers and scientists to present their work for interaction
and exchange views on the most recent developments in plant science. PTCA-I has been providing this unique platform by facilitating annual gathering of scientists, every year, for
more than past four decades. The annual meeting of the association is combined with a threeday symposium on a theme related to advances in plant tissue culture and plant biotechnology. 43rd Annual Meeting of Plant Tissue Culture Association (India) & International Symposium on Advances in Plant Biotechnology and Nutritional Security (APBNS-2022)
is being organized by ICAR-National Institute for Plant Biotechnology, New Delhi-110012, India between April 28-30, 2022 in association with PTCA-I.

Due to the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic, this event will be organized through hybrid mode i.e., both virtual and in person, to give a better access to the participants. This symposium will provide an excellent opportunity to bring together experts and emerging scientists with an interest in this exciting field of plant biology. The overall goal of this symposium is to provide a forum for the exchange of information and ideas on plant biotechnology and nutritional genomics and the development of new scientific collaborations.
